Responsible Play
Playing Safely: Responsible Gambling Support
Pokies are meant to be a bit of fun on a Friday night, not a source of stress. Here's where Australian players can get real help, register for self-exclusion, or read up on how the regulator treats online gambling.
Why This Matters for Aussie Pokies Fans
I've been writing about online pokies and bonus offers for the better part of a decade, and the one thing that never changes is this: the games are built to be engaging, so it's on the player to set the pace, not the reels. That's true whether you're chasing a welcome package or just topping up for a weekly reload. If a session ever stops feeling like entertainment and starts feeling like a habit you can't shake, the resources below are the ones I'd point a mate towards first.
If you want the fuller context on Here2Win before anything else, the guide overview is the best starting point, and you can always come back here whenever a session needs a breather.
National Help: Gambling Help Online
This is the first call I'd suggest to any Australian player, regardless of which site they use. It's free, confidential and staffed by people trained specifically in gambling-related counselling.
Self-Exclusion via BetStop
BetStop is Australia's National Self-Exclusion Register, and it lets you block yourself from licensed Australian wagering services in one go rather than contacting each operator separately. It's worth knowing that BetStop covers services licensed within Australia; Here2Win operates under an Anjouan licence rather than an Australian one, so I'd treat BetStop as one solid layer of protection alongside talking to Gambling Help Online about any offshore accounts you hold, rather than assuming it covers every site you play on.
Regulator Information: ACMA
The Australian Communications and Media Authority administers the Interactive Gambling Act 2001 and publishes plain-English guidance on how online gambling is regulated for Australian residents. The ACMA online gambling information page is a solid place to read up on what's permitted, what isn't, and how offshore-licensed sites fit into that picture before you decide how much time or money you're comfortable putting toward pokies.
General account and bonus questions that aren't about safe play are covered separately in the FAQ, so this page can stay focused on support and limits rather than sign-up mechanics. You can also see who compiled these resources on About, and for anything specific to your Here2Win account — deposits, verification, a stuck withdrawal — Contact lists the brand's own confirmed channels.
One Call Is a Reasonable Place to Start
None of this is meant to be a lecture — it's just the same practical checklist I'd hand a mate. If pokies have started costing more than money, Gambling Help Online is free, confidential, and open around the clock.
